My big brother!! Oh, how I mourn your passing. Being your "baby sister" and 16 years younger, you were my hero and my idol. I will always tell people of your indomitable spirit and how you came through many crises in your life. Your calm demeanor under stress and trials still keeps me in awe. Engaged to Gloria at the age of 93 just shows more spunk and spirit than is imagineable. You packed at least 2 lifetimes of activity into your life. Heaven is a brighter spot now that you're there and I look forward to our reunion some day. Love, Judy (baby sister).
Memories of my Uncle Dick:
Talking in that wonderful gravelly voice
Happily seated on the couch at Helter Skelter Shelter, never minding the chaos
Stopping by Grandma's house, wearing your navy blue work clothes
Sitting on a tractor, the perfect embodiment of a farmer in the eyes of a young girl from California
Enjoying a meal (and a smoke) at "Restaurant"
Bringing Grandma to California, but always looking forward to your return to "God's Country"
May God's Country be everything you've ever dreamed it could be, Uncle Dick. You're in good company. Love you lots, Kory
